Meet Dave
Associate BrokerDave was born and raised in Holland, Michigan, and spent a lot of time growing up on the water, boating with his family. After graduating from Holland Christian Schools, he went on to Davenport College and Central Michigan University, receiving his B.S.B.A. in Management and Marketing. After 6 years in Public Relations and International Marketing for Amway Corporation, the entrepreneurial spirit pushed him to start his own real estate investment business, with investment properties in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Palm Springs, California.
In 2004, Dave purchased the former Hansen Manufacturing facility in Douglas, Michigan, and soon opened the Saugatuck Antique Pavilion, also creating a home for the Saugatuck Brewing Company, whose board he served on for over 10 years. Dave joined the Coldwell Banker office in Douglas in 2010, became their Managing Broker from 2013 until 2021, and has been a top producing agent each year.
Dave wrote “I love to challenge and push myself, if it scares me I know I have to do it! I love the idea of playing as hard as I work, but work always wins! I am a perfectionist, and wish I wasn’t! I still think I am 24! I love dogs and have rescued 5! I don’t cook – my 12-year-old oven still has the energy guide and protective cardboard inside!
